Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon honey (optional for a touch of sweetness)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, honey (if using), salt, and pepper. This will be your marinade.

Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl with the marinade. Make sure the shrimp are well-coated and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour for maximum flavor.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, be sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes beforehand.

Remove the shrimp from the marinade and thread them onto skewers. Discard any remaining marinade.

Place the shrimp skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the grill and transfer to a serving platter.

Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zesty kick.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour (including marinating) | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the grilled shrimp skewers on a vibrant platter, with a sprinkle of cilantro and lime wedges for an attractive touch. Consider adding a side of grilled corn or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
