Ingredients

2 cups water

2 teaspoons black tea leaves or 2 black tea bags

1 cup milk (whole, almond, or oat milk)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

A pinch of salt

Cinnamon stick (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Begin by bringing the water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Once the water is boiling, add the black tea leaves or tea bags. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

After steeping, remove the tea leaves or bags from the saucepan and lower the heat.

Pour in the milk and stir in the honey or maple syrup, pure vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

Allow the mixture to gently heat for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until it is warm, but do not let it boil.

Pour the tea into cups or mugs through a fine mesh strainer if using loose leaves.

Optional: Garnish with a cinnamon stick for an added aromatic touch and extra flavor.
