Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

20 wonton wrappers

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Additional powdered sugar for dusting

Fresh berries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth and well blended. Set aside.

Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the wrapper.

Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water, fold it in half to form a triangle, and pinch the edges to seal tightly. Ensure there are no air bubbles inside.

Repeat this process with the remaining wrappers and filling until everything is used.

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat oil over medium heat (approximately 350°F).

Fry the wontons in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan, until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Once fried, use a slotted spoon to remove the wontons and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

While still warm, dust the wontons with powdered sugar.

Serve immediately with fresh berries and mint leaves for a refreshing touch, if desired.
