Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup whole milk

1 large egg

1 teaspoon ground allspice

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped onion, minced garlic, whole milk, egg, ground allspice, ground nutmeg, salt, and pepper until well-blended.

Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet. You should get around 20-24 meatballs.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little olive oil and cook the meatballs in batches until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the cooked meatballs from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Gradually whisk in the flour until combined and cook for about 1 minute to form a roux.

Slowly whisk in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and soy sauce (if using), then return the meatballs to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until the meatballs are heated through and coated with the sauce.

Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
