Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced

4 cups water

2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

1 lime, juiced

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, diced mangoes, and honey or agave syrup.

Add 2 cups of water to the blender and blend until smooth.

Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds and pulp, using a spatula to help push it through.

Once strained, add the remaining 2 cups of water and lime juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.

Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or agave syrup.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.

Serve the agua fresca in glasses, garnishing with a few mint leaves on top for a refreshing aroma and look.
