Ingredients

1/2 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water (for thickening)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.

Add the grated ginger, minced garlic, and honey (or maple syrup) to the mixture and stir well. This will bring a delightful sweetness to the sauce.

If you like a bit of heat, add the red pepper flakes and stir until evenly distributed.

While continuously stirring, gently mix in the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch combined with cold water) to thicken the sauce.

Taste the sauce and season with salt and black pepper as needed. Adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more honey or lime juice if desired.

Allow the sauce to sit for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld together before using it in your stir-fried dishes.
