Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red, green, or both)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet or grill pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Once cooked, remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest under foil.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the diced bell peppers and garlic. Sauté for about 2 minutes until softened. Pour in the chicken broth and allow to simmer for 2 minutes.

Add Cream: Slowly stir in the heavy cream and simmer for about 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. Return the shrimp to the pan and mix well, simmering for another minute. Season with additional salt or Cajun seasoning to taste.

Serve: Place each steak on a plate, and generously spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
