Ingredients

1 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits

8 large eggs

1 cup milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside.

Open the can of refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Arrange the biscuit pieces evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Pour the egg mixture over the biscuit pieces evenly. Then, sprinkle the cooked sausage over the top of the casserole.

Generously distribute the shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Once done, remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Cut into squares and garnish with chopped chives.
