1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 lb sausage (breakfast or Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled)

1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, drained

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cooked sausage, drained Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

      Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into individual triangles.

        Take a tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture and place it at the wide end of each triangle.

          Roll each triangle tightly from the wide end to the tip, making sure to enclose the filling. Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
