Ingredients
  

1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)

1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes, drained

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.

      Add the drained Rotel tomatoes to the skillet along with the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Stir until everything is fully combined and the cream cheese is melted. Remove from heat.

        On a clean surface, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

          Place a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture on the wider end of each crescent triangle. Top each with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.

            Roll the crescent triangles tightly from the wide end to the tip and place them on a greased baking sheet.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and puffed.

                Once done, let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired.
