Ingredients

1.5 lbs beef chuck, cubed

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

3 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz pasta of your choice (penne or fusilli works well)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a slow cooker, add the cubed beef chuck, diced onion, and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes (if you're using them).

Pour in the beef broth, crushed tomatoes, and tomato paste. Stir to combine everything well.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

About 30 minutes before serving, cook your pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

Once the beef is cooked, shred it right in the slow cooker using two forks, and then stir in the heavy cream.

Add the cooked pasta directly into the slow cooker and gently mix until the pasta is well-coasted with the beef sauce.

Before serving, sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, covering the pasta. Cover the slow cooker for about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and becomes gooey.

Serve hot, garnished with freshly torn basil leaves.

                  Prep Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 8 hours 15 mins | Servings: 6

Slow cooker meals make the best comfort food and the melting cheese on top adds a rich, decadent finish to this dish. Enjoy!
