Ingredients

1 lb skirt steak, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

12 slider rolls (dinner rolls)

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional: sliced jalapeños for added spice

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Season the thinly sliced steak with Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a touch of oil and sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers until they are soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, increase the heat to medium-high. Add the marinated steak and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked through. Mix in the sautéed vegetables until everything is well combined.

Assemble the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally without separating them completely. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.

Add Filling: Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Top with shredded provolone cheese, ensuring it's spread evenly across all sliders.

Add the Top Half: Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese-covered filling. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls for extra flavor and a nice golden finish.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Slice the sliders with a sharp knife, and serve warm, optionally garnished with jalapeño slices for a spicy kick.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 12 sliders.

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the sliders on a rustic wooden board, Drizzle with a bit of extra melted butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley for color. Place small bowls of dipping sauces, like a creamy garlic mayo or ketchup, beside the sliders for added appeal.
