Ingredients

4 frozen lobster tails

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Thaw the Lobster Tails: Place the frozen lobster tails in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours to thaw, or submerge them in cold water for 30-60 minutes for a quick thaw.

Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut through the hard shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out and lay it on top of the shell. This is known as piggybacking.

Preheat the Broiler: Set your oven's broiler to high (about 500°F or 260°C) and let it preheat for about 10 minutes.

Brush with Butter: Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter mixture.

Broil the Lobster: Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Broil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes, basting with the butter mixture halfway through, until the meat is opaque and slightly golden.

Check Doneness: The lobster is done when the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the meat is firm to the touch.

Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
