Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup olive oil

Zest of 2 lemons

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoons black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Whisk until well blended.

Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the lemon-pepper mixture until they’re thoroughly coated.

Spread the wings in a single layer on the wire rack on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overlapping for even cooking.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning the wings halfway through for even crispiness. The wings should be golden-brown and crispy.

Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
