1teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1cupfrozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
2cupscooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)
1tablespoonsesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix well to ensure the beef is fully coated with the marinade.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the seasoned ground beef mixture. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula, until it is browned and fully cooked.
Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are heated through.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the chopped green onions, reserving a few for garnish. Allow everything to heat through for 1-2 minutes.
To serve, place a portion of cooked rice in each bowl. Top with a generous scoop of the Korean ground beef and vegetable mixture.
Garnish with additional green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
Notes
Adjust the crushed red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
