Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 large egg yolk

1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough

1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1 tablespoon melted butter

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, and egg yolk. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per the package instructions.

On the prepared baking sheet, lay each triangle and slightly stretch them to create a larger base for the filling.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheesecake mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, then add a teaspoon of crushed pineapple and a sprinkle of shredded coconut on top.

Carefully roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, making sure to tuck the filling inside. Pinch the edges to seal.

Brush the tops of the danishes with melted butter for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
