Irresistible Steak with Haunted Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce

2 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Prepare the Steaks: Remove the steaks from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

    Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add the steaks. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the timing to achieve your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for best results (130°F for medium-rare).

      Remove and Rest: Once cooked to your liking, transfer the steaks to a plate, cover loosely with aluminum foil, and let them rest while you prepare the sauce.

        Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

          Add Cream and Flavorings: Pour in the heavy cream, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and smoked paprika. Stir well to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet for added flavor. Let the sauce simmer for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.

            Serve: Slice the rested steaks against the grain and place on a serving platter. Drizzle the Haunted Bourbon Garlic Cream Sauce over the top.
