Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 cup fresh pineapple, diced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium)

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mix the diced pineapple, honey, soy sauce, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Stir well to combine and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with olive oil.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Once the grill or pan is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes.

Carefully flip the salmon fillets and brush them generously with the honey-pineapple marinade.

Cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired level of doneness and is flaky. The marinade will create a lovely glaze.

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

Drizzle any remaining honey-pineapple marinade over the top.

Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve each salmon fillet on a plate with extra pineapple chunks on the side. A sprig of fresh cilantro or parsley can add a vibrant touch.
