Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)

3 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.

Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure all chops are evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for better flavor).

Preheat your grill or skillet on medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Remove the pork chops from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for later.

Cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

While the chops are cooking, pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan. Bring it to a boil and then reduce to a simmer, allowing it to thicken for about 5-7 minutes.

Once the pork chops are done, let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps retain the juices.

Drizzle the thickened sauce over the rested pork chops and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

                  Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the pork chops on a rustic wooden platter with a side of steamed vegetables and fluffy jasmine rice. Drizzle extra sauce on top and sprinkle with additional sesame seeds for visual appeal.
