In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil until well combined. This will be your glaze.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it, skin-side down.
Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
Brush half of the honey garlic glaze over the tops of the salmon fillets.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, switch the oven to broil and drizzle the remaining glaze over the fillets to caramelize the topping slightly. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
