Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

3 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it to prevent sticking.

In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Set up a breading station: place the flour in one shallow dish, the beaten eggs in a second dish, and the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture in a third dish.

Take each chicken breast and lightly coat it in the flour, shaking off the excess.

Dip the floured chicken breasts into the beaten eggs, making sure they are fully coated.

Finally, press the chicken breasts into the Parmesan crumb mixture, ensuring they are well-coated on both sides.

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Once both sides are browned, transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the chicken on a rustic wooden board, drizzled with a balsamic reduction for added elegance. Pair it with roasted vegetables or a fresh side salad to complete the meal.
