1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, your choice)

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

12 refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury)

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Use a spatula to break it up into small pieces as it cooks.

      Once the sausage is cooked, add the frozen mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.

        In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

          Cut each biscuit in half and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading them out evenly.

            Pour the cooked sausage and vegetable mixture over the biscuit pieces in the baking dish.

              Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top, ensuring it covers all the ingredients.

                Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the biscuits are golden brown.

                    Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
