Ingredients

6 large croissants, cut into quarters

2 cups diced ham

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

6 large eggs

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray.

In the prepared casserole dish, layer half of the quartered croissants on the bottom.

Evenly sprinkle the diced ham over the croissants, followed by half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

Add the remaining croissant quarters on top and finish with the rest of the cheese.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered croissant, ham, and cheese.

Gently push down any croissant pieces that are floating to ensure they soak in the egg mixture.

Let the casserole sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the egg is set.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

                        Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 6-8

                          - Presentation Tips: Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley on top. Ideal accompaniments include a simple mixed green salad for a balanced meal.
