Ingredients

4 large croissants, cut in half lengthwise

8 ounces of cooked ham, sliced

8 ounces of Swiss cheese, shredded

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Place the bottom halves of the croissants in the greased baking dish and layer them with the sliced ham and half of the shredded Swiss cheese.

Place the top halves of the croissants over the ham and cheese layers.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants, ensuring all the layers are soaked.

Sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top of the croissant sandwiches.

Allow the mixture to sit for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Garnish with chopped fresh chives before serving.
