Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup diced cooked ham

1/4 cup melted butter

1 cup milk

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder until well combined.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced ham until they are evenly distributed throughout the flour mixture.

In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and milk, then pour the mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently mix until just combined—do not overmix; it's okay if the batter is slightly lumpy.

Pour the biscuit batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares.

                Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 40 min | Servings: 9-12

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve warm, drizzled with a little extra melted butter and garnished with fresh herbs, like chopped chives or parsley, for a pop of color.
