Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)

2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1 cup bell peppers, chopped (mix of colors)

1 cup zucchini, sliced

1 onion, sliced

1 cup corn, frozen or fresh

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Aluminum foil (heavy-duty)

Instructions

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a campfire, prepare the coals for high heat cooking.

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, sliced potatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, onion, and corn.

Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture, then add garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed and coated.

Cut out large squares of aluminum foil (about 12x12 inches).

Place a generous portion of the meat and vegetable mixture in the center of each foil square.

Fold the foil over the mixture to create a tight packet, ensuring there are no holes to prevent leaks.

Place the packets on the grill and cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through. If using a campfire, place them on a grill grate above the flames.

After cooking, carefully open the packets (steam will escape!) and check that the meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.

Serve directly from the foil packets for a fun and rustic presentation.

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the packets on a wooden cutting board, allowing guests to open their own. Add a sprinkle of fresh parsley or chives for color and garnish.
