1 pre-made chocolate pie crust

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

3 large eggs

1 cup evaporated milk

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup shredded sweetened coconut

1 cup chopped pecans

½ teaspoon salt

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.

      In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, evaporated milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

        Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.

          Fold in the shredded coconut and chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

            Pour the filling into the pre-made chocolate pie crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.

              Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

                Remove from the oven and let the pie cool completely at room temperature.

                  Once cool, place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow it to firm up.
