Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss well until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

Spread the coated Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer, cut side down for maximum caramelization.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.

After 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet, and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the Brussels sprouts.

Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Once beautifully roasted, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a minute.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the roasted Brussels sprouts on a platter, drizzled lightly with balsamic reduction for added style, and make sure to add a sprig of parsley on top for a pop of color.
