Ingredients

2 lobster tails

10 large sea scallops

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shell lengthwise. Gently pry the lobster meat upward, keeping it attached at the tail, and rest it on top of the shell.

Season Lobster: Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking dish. In a small bowl, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, then mix in half of the minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this garlic butter mixture over the lobsters.

Bake Lobster: Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and firm.

Sear the Scallops: While the lobster is baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Add the scallops to the hot skillet and sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden crust. Season with salt and pepper.

Garlic Butter Finish: In the last minute of cooking the scallops, add the remaining minced garlic to the skillet. Stir gently to infuse the scallops in garlic flavor without burning the garlic.

Combine and Serve: Once the lobster tails are cooked and the scallops are perfectly seared, remove them from the heat. Drizzle the scallops with the lemon juice and sprinkle them with chopped parsley. Arrange the lobster and scallops on a serving platter.

Garnish and Enjoy: Serve your feast with lemon wedges on the side and a sprinkle of extra parsley for color.
