1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.

    Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

      Meanwhile, in a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, cream cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Use a hand mixer or a fork to whip until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

        In another bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, a pinch of salt, and a drizzle of olive oil. Toss gently to coat the tomatoes.

          Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

            Spread a generous layer of the whipped feta mixture on each toasted baguette slice.

              Top each slice with a spoonful of the marinated cherry tomatoes.

                Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and flavor.

                  If desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze for added sweetness and depth.
