Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/4 cup white miso paste

2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, finely sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the white miso paste, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and soy sauce until smooth and well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the miso marinade over the salmon, making sure all the fillets are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the Salmon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Broil for a Finish: For a nice caramelized finish, switch the oven to broil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately.

              Prep Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 45 mins | Servings: 4

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the salmon on a bed of steamed rice or alongside sautéed vegetables. A wedge of lime on the plate adds a nice touch of color and freshness!
