Ingredients

1 pound refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled

1 cup pepperoni slices

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Spread the crumbled Italian sausage evenly over the dough, followed by a layer of pepperoni slices.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings, and add sliced black olives if using.

Generously sprinkle Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor.

Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, ensuring the filling stays inside. Pinch the edges to seal tightly.

Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with beaten egg and a light drizzle of olive oil.

Use a sharp knife to make a few slits on top of the Stromboli for steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve warm, with marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil leaves on top.
