Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings)

1/4 cup marinara sauce

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to create a garlic oil. Set aside.

Open the can of pizza dough and roll it out on a floured surface. Cut the dough into squares, approximately 4x4 inches each.

Place a tablespoon of marinara sauce in the center of each square, followed by a pinch of mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni.

Carefully fold the corners of the dough squares over the filling to form a bomb shape, pinching the edges together to seal tightly.

Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with the garlic oil mixture.

Place the stuffed dough bombs on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil and accompanied by extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 pizza bombs
