Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup milk

2 cups biscuit dough (store-bought or homemade)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is combined.

Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish and spread it evenly.

In another bowl, whisk together the milk and a pinch of salt until combined. Pour this over the chicken mixture in the casserole dish, allowing it to seep in.

Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and scatter it over the top of the chicken filling, ensuring to cover as much surface area as possible.

Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown and cooked through.

Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley just before serving for an extra touch of flavor and color.
