Ingredients

6 large eggs

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1/4 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Black olives for decoration

Baby carrots, cut into small pieces for beaks

Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

Begin by placing the eggs in a pot and covering them with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes. This will make peeling easier.

Peel the eggs under running water to help remove the shells more easily. Cut each egg in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl.

Mash the yolks with a fork and add in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.

Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.

To create the chick shape, place the filled egg halves upright on a serving platter.

Use small pieces of black olives for eyes, and tiny cuts of baby carrots to form beaks. You can also use chives to create little “hair” on top of the chicks for added flair.

Repeat the decoration for all egg halves, ensuring each chick looks adorable and unique.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 halves (6 eggs total)

                    - Presentation Tips: Arrange the deviled egg chicks in a nest made of shredded lettuce or herbs to enhance the presentation. You can sprinkle additional paprika on top for color before serving.
