Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup melted unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Extra Parmesan for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until well-mixed.

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure they stay crispy. Add the wings to the bowl with the flour mixture and toss until each wing is evenly coated.

Place the coated wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Remove the sauce from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and well-combined.

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.

Serve the wings hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and extra grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
