8 oz (225g) penne pasta

2 chicken breasts, diced

4 slices of bacon, chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup fresh spinach

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon. Cook until crispy, then remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

      Sauté the Chicken: In the same skillet (discard excess bacon fat, leaving about 1 tablespoon), add the olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken breasts, seasoning with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.

        Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.

          Create the Creamy Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

            Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked penne pasta, crispy bacon, and fresh spinach to the skillet. Toss everything together until the spinach wilts and the pasta is thoroughly coated in the creamy sauce.

              Finish the Dish: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and well-combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
