Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

2 cups frozen tater tots

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup ranch dressing

6 strips of crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

1 cup green onions, chopped (whites and greens separated)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.

Add the cooked shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onion whites into the mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the greased baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Carefully arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture, creating a nice even covering.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and the remaining green onion tops over the tater tots.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
