Ingredients

1 cup crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

1 package egg roll wrappers

Oil (for frying)

Sweet chili sauce (for serving)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, chopped green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and cilantro. Stir until well mixed and creamy.

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing towards you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll the wrapper tightly away from you to form an egg roll. Seal the top edge with a bit of water.

Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat about 2 inches of oil over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot (around 350°F/175°C), carefully add a few egg rolls at a time to the oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Remove the egg rolls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Repeat until all egg rolls are fried.

Serve warm with sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 12 egg rolls

                      - Presentation Tips: Arrange the egg rolls on a platter with a small bowl of sweet chili sauce in the center. Garnish with sliced scallions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an attractive presentation.
