1cupwhole wheat pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
If using homemade dough, roll it out to fit your baking dish, about 9x13 inches. If using store-bought, follow package instructions for preparation.
In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until the cheeses are evenly incorporated.
Fold in the diced bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, and chopped spinach into the cheese mixture until combined.
Spread the prepared pizza dough in the bottom of your greased baking dish. Pour the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Next, spoon the cottage cheese and vegetable mixture on top of the sauce, spreading it out evenly.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese on top is bubbly and golden.
Once baked, allow the dish to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize the vegetables based on your preference.
