Ingredients

4 slices of thick brioche bread

2 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (whole or almond)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon butter (for frying)

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

Start by cutting each slice of brioche bread into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.

Preheat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat and melt the butter.

Dip each cube of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated but not soaked, to avoid sogginess.

Place the coated bread cubes into the skillet, spacing them out to avoid overcrowding. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crisp.

Once cooked, remove the French toast bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess butter.

In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Dust the warm French toast bites with this mixture for an extra sweet touch.

Serve warm with maple syrup on the side for dipping.

                    - Presentation Tips: Arrange the bites on a serving platter, stacking them slightly for a bite-sized tower effect. Drizzle some maple syrup over the top and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a few fresh berries for added color. Serve with small skewers or toothpicks for easy eating!
