Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to create the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Place the halved peaches skin-side down in a baking dish.

In another bowl, mix the melted butter and vanilla extract. Drizzle this mixture evenly over the peach halves.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture generously over each peach half. If you’re using chopped pecans, sprinkle them on top as well for added crunch.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the peaches are tender and the sugar is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
