Ingredients

1 can (12 oz) pre-made cinnamon rolls

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (or milk substitute)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

2 tablespoons butter, for cooking

Maple syrup, for serving

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the egg mixture and gently toss to coat. Allow the mixture to sit for about 5 minutes, letting the rolls soak up the egg mixture.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the butter, swirling to coat the surface.

Using a slotted spoon, scoop the soaked cinnamon roll pieces out of the mixture and place them in the hot skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly crispy. Repeat with the remaining pieces, adding more butter as needed.

Once cooked, remove the bites from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate.

Drizzle with maple syrup and, if desired, dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.
