1 pound ground chicken

1 cup finely chopped green onions

1 cup shredded carrots

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 package wonton wrappers

Vegetable oil for frying

Sweet chili sauce for dipping

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, green onions, shredded carrots, minced garlic, and ginger.

    Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.

      Take a wonton wrapper and place it on a flat surface. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the chicken filling into the center of the wrapper.

        Brush the edges of the wrapper with water using your fingertip to help seal it.

          Fold the wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal. You can also pinch the corners for a decorative touch.

            Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling until all are filled.

              In a deep skillet or pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

                Carefully add the wontons to the hot oil, a few at a time, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Flip occasionally for even cooking.

                  Remove the wontons and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

                    Serve the crispy chicken wontons hot with sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
