Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Open the cans of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles along the perforated lines.

Take one triangle of dough and place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture at the wide end of the triangle.

Roll the dough tightly around the filling, starting from the wide end towards the point. Pinch the edges to seal and ensure the filling doesn’t spill out during baking.

Place the rolled crescent on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining triangles and filling.

Brush the tops of each crescent roll with the beaten egg for a golden finish. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top for additional flavor and texture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and flaky.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 rolls

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve warm on a platter, garnished with extra chopped green onions or parsley for a pop of color. Consider pairing with a side of ranch or buffalo sauce for dipping.
