2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup baby spinach (optional)

½ cup diced tomatoes (optional)

¼ cup fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.

      Butterfly the chicken breasts (slice them horizontally without cutting all the way through) and lightly pound them to an even thickness.

        Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat.

          Spread the garlic cream cheese mixture evenly on each chicken breast. Then, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

            Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

              Meanwhile, warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet for a minute on each side until pliable.

                Once the chicken is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

                  Slice the chicken into strips and place them in the center of each tortilla. Add baby spinach and diced tomatoes if using.

                    Roll the tortillas tightly around the filling to create wraps, folding in the sides as you go.

                      Optionally, you can grill the wraps on a skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side for extra crispiness.

                        Slice in half diagonally and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
