Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Start by seasoning the salmon fillets and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure they're evenly coated for maximum flavor.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Once the oil is shimmering, add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then gently flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the lemon juice, combining well with the garlic butter sauce. Allow the sauce to simmer for an additional minute.

Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the top. Cook for another minute to heat through.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
