1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (15 oz) corn kernels, drained

1 medium red bell pepper, finely diced

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño pepper, deseeded and minced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rinsed black beans and drained corn.

    Add the diced red bell pepper, chopped red onion, and minced jalapeño pepper to the bowl.

      Incorporate the chopped cilantro into the mixture.

        In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and pepper.

          Pour the dressing over the salsa ingredients and gently toss to combine until everything is evenly mixed.

            Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

              Cover and let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
