Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough

1 pound sausage (breakfast or Italian)

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until it's browned and fully cooked, about 7–10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional minute to toast the flour slightly.

Slowly pour in the milk while stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined and set aside.

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Spread the biscuit pieces evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Pour the sausage gravy mixture over the biscuit pieces, ensuring it's distributed evenly.

Pour the beaten eggs over the gravy mixture, gently spreading them to cover the entire surface.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the eggs are set.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley just before serving.
