Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries or raspberries)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay half of the triangles in the bottom of the baking dish, pressing them together to form a solid layer.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, sour cream, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.

Gently pour the cream cheese mixture over the first layer of crescent rolls, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

Sprinkle the fresh berries on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Take the remaining crescent roll triangles and lay them over the top of the cream cheese filling, pressing lightly to help adhere.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Allow the casserole to cool for about 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.

Slice into squares and serve warm, or refrigerate for a chilled dessert!
